Skin representing another well known sharkmouth Mustangs, this time from the Pacific region!
The 51st FG was already very notorious in the region for the menacing nose art, drawn to strike fear in their opponents. You can find several beautiful P-40's sporting similar sharkmouths!
Jeanne III was the personal aircraft of Capt. Rodier Jr. who as you can clearly see was from L.A. The aircraft sported the typical yellow ID bands of the fighter squadron, and that happy grin!
Sadly Captain Rodier was KIA in September 1944 over the Muong Khuong/Vietnam area. He would only score one confirmed kill.
