Leopard 2A6 411/Meyer, 1. Fahrzeug, I. Zug, 4./Panzerlehrbataillon 93, Panzerlehrbrigade 9, Letzlingen, 2000s
Updated 19.11.20 with improved bump map and reflections and few cosmetic changes to better handle the way the model works.
So, Flecktarn returns! This time with a bit of a Multitarn influenced pattern. Actual Multitarn was a bit crazy looking, and we're in the realm of fantasy here, so I've toned it down a bit.
This demonstration unit has already been popular with me on the Leo 2K, where the markings of an early Leo 2A0 were used (https://live.warthunder.com/post/720935/en/), and they seem to be the standard early adopter unit for new tanks into the Bundeswehr.
The name "Meyer" on the turret side is that of the vehilce's commander, and the "411" on the turret rear is in place of the older method of putting the prominent numerals on the turret sides towards the rear.
One thing about the L55, it certainly makes three-quarter images from the front difficult to get right, that is one long gun-tube!
