S/Sgt. Fred Piper, the belly turret gunner on the „Flak Eater “ has just passed on at the age of 97 years old on May 24th 2022.

- Edited/tweaked the weathering to give it a late 44', early 45' look, especially changed the exhaust stains on top wing. It was often assumed that the B-17G had some sort of vents where the exhaust dirt comes from. But in reality, its just the Engines exhaust that flows between these assumed "vents".
